With over three decades of experience as a senior federal government manager and successful entrepreneur in the private sector, Michael brings a unique blend of expertise to deal origination and project management.  After launching, managing, and selling a successful construction business, Michael embarked on a 20-year diplomatic career, building relationships across Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe.  Since returning to the private sector, Michael’s strategic vision and abilities as an integrator enable him to drive complex initiatives from conception to completion.  Michael is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University and is fluent in French.  

Andy joins Andarta following a distinguished 25-year career as a senior foreign
policy practitioner, national security advisor, and public finance program manager.
From 2021-2022, he served as Regional Lead for the Middle East and North Africa at
the International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and Co-manager of the
Joint Investment for Peace Initiative. Previously, as a Senior Political-Military Officer
at the U.S. Department of State, he managed $400 million dollars in security
assistance appropriated for Europe. His other Washington experience includes
senior advisory positions at the National Security Council (NSC), U.S. Department of
State, Joint Chiefs of Staff (Pentagon), and the office of U.S. Senator Richard J.
Durbin. He has also represented the United States abroad as an Economic Officer at
the U.S. diplomatic missions in Turkey, Israel, and Syria. A graduate of the U.S. Naval
Academy and The Fletcher School at Tufts University, Andy speaks Turkish, Arabic,
Hebrew, and French.
